When ambitious press releases come to us that say something like “it brings together musical styles and influences from the sixties to the present”, I inevitably get left behind. It is usually the postal code for disappointment. Fortunately here is not at all what we have. In fact, I don’t even know if the description in question is the one that best suits what we can hear but without a doubt that the Ambassadors Of The Sun’s music is beyond ambitious. A progressive metal that goes from extreme to world music but that is not lost in unnecessary daydreams or gimmicks to attract attention (in a world that is overcrowded with tactics like this). Music is the one who speaks the loudest, melodically, always, but never leaving weight behind. This is what makes this one of the great treasures of 2020.
